Behind a wall sometimes, a world full of colors and fantasy can hide. It is enough to break it and … it will be opaque, that’s what the children will see during the wait before the therapy, in the National Cancer Institute of Milan.
Painted by the artist SILVIO IRILLI and set up in 4 hours
The Acquarius project aims to create a marine world within the Gemelli A.R.T. at the Gemelli Polyclinic in Rome. It will be a large work of 300 square meters, painted by the artist SILVIO IRILLI and dedicated to small pediatric patients, of which the aquarium will be the gateway. In this way the therapy room will be transformed into a great fairytale environment, where children will meet many friends such as dolphins, turtles and colorful fish, ready to encourage them to face in a playful way, a therapy path.
MAGIC FOREST STREET – REGINA MARGHERITA HOSPITAL OF TURIN
After much waiting, one of the greatest works of art ever made for a hospital came to Regina Margherita of Turin. It is called “Via del Bosco Incantato” and was made thanks to the donations collected by the IO STO CON IL REGINA MARGHERITA ONLUS Association to decorate about 140 sqm of the walls and windows of the acceptance area, transformed into a naturalistic and spring landscape, populated from cute animals.
Today, Via del Bosco Incantato gives a sense of lightness and serenity, you have the feeling of entering a park of fantasy, full of colors, characters and magic.
The Radiotherapy bunker has become a large aquarium with paintings by the artist SILVIO IRILLI.
A great work made possible thanks to the donation of the Open Onlus Association of Salerno in collaboration with the Thirty Hours for Life Association.
For young patients it will be like being surrounded by dolphins, turtles, fish, corals, imagining that they are in another dimension
