RUGGI D’ARAGONA HOSPITAL OF SALERNO

THE ISLAND OF TREASURES

In Salerno Hospital, children hospitalized in the pediatric radiotherapy ward will be surrounded by many new friends, such as dolphins, turtles, parrots and above all … a treasure! But the real treasures will be them, the children.

Nearly 1,000 people attended the press conference for the inauguration of the ward, with the presence of prominent personalities such as Enzo Napoli, mayor of Salerno, Rita Salci, president of the “Thirty Hours for Life” association, Anna Maria Alfani, president of the “Open – Pedriatic Oncology” association, Silvio Irilli, the artist author of the work. Godmother of the event was Lorella Cuccarini as testimonial of the association “Trenta Ore per la Vita.”

An achievement made possible thanks to the donation of the Ass. Open Pediatric Oncology with contributions from:
UNICREDIT, Ass. TRENTA ORE PER LA VITA, LA BUONA NOTTE, FONDAZIONE CARISAL, MARCO MALOSSI.
Thanks to these people, children will be able to live a little Dream!

“Beaches, rainbows, the sea and a pirate galleon: this is not a fairy tale, but the theme of the drawings decorating the walls of the new radiotherapy department. So that the hours in the ward can be less difficult and the little patients and their families can experience the delicate moments of treatment with greater serenity. Thank you Silvio Irilli.”
