RUGGI D'ARAGONA HOSPITAL OF SALERNO

THE ISLAND OF TREASURES

At Salerno Hospital, the children in the paediatric radiotherapy ward will be surrounded by many new friends, such as dolphins, turtles, parrots and, above all, a treasure! But the real treasures will be them, the children.

Almost 1,000 people attended the press conference for the inauguration of the ward, with the presence of important personalities such as Enzo Napoli, mayor of Salerno, Rita Salci, president of the association "Trenta Ore per la Vita", Anna Maria Alfani, president of the association "Open - Oncologia Pedriatica", Silvio Irilli, the artist who created the work. The event was hosted by Lorella Cuccarini as testimonial of the "Trenta Ore per la Vita" association.

An achievement made possible thanks to the donation of the Open Oncologia Pediatrica Association with the contribution of:
UNICREDIT, Ass. TRENTA ORE PER LA VITA, LA BUONA NOTTE, FONDAZIONE CARISAL, MARCO MALOSSI.
Thanks to these people, the children will be able to live a little Dream!

"Beaches, rainbows, the sea and a pirate galleon: this is not a fairy tale, but the theme of the drawings decorating the walls of the new radiotherapy ward. So that the hours in the ward can be less difficult and the young patients and their families can live the delicate moments of treatment with greater serenity. Thank you Silvio Irilli".
