IL PROGETTO OSPEDALI DIPINTI PER IL POLICLINICO SANT'ORSOLA DI BOLOGNA

Bologna, novembre 2025 Per il quarto anno consecutivo La Roche Posay sostiene il progetto Ospedali Dipinti e in collaborazione con la Fondazione Sant'Orsola dona 2 grandi opere realizzate dall'artista Silvio Irilli al Policlinico Sant'Orsola. La sala d'attesa del Pronto Soccorso è diventata "La sala delle mongolfiere" dove i bambini potranno volare con la fantasia in attesa della visita. La sala giochi della Radioterapia è stata trasformata ne "l'Isola del tesoro" con Capitan Delfino, la sirenetta Sofia ed è stato rappresentato un sottomarino e i bambini potranno scegliere il loro personaggio che gli indicherà il numero di terapie che resteranno al termine del percorso di cura. Anche quest'anno il concorso nazionale "Chi scrive un messaggio dona un tesoro" insieme alle farmacie d'Italia, ha consentito a centinaia di bambini di inviare i loro disegni con una frase e i 3 vincitori hanno partecipato all'inaugurazione dove hanno potuto mostrare con orgoglio i loro disegni con le frasi da loro dedicate ai piccoli pazienti, che sono state inserite nelle 2 opere.I bambini per i bambini un altro messaggio forte che arricchisce questa iniziativa ogni anno. E adesso avanti tutta per il quinto progetto in Piemonte!

Villanova d'Asti 24/10/2025: Silvio Irilli torna nella sua Villanova per presentare il progetto “Ospedali Dipinti” e lanciare, insieme al Sindaco Roberto Peretti, una raccolta fondi che unisce arte e solidarietà. Tutto esaurito al cinema di Villanova d’Asti per una serata che ha unito memoria, musica e solidarietà. L’evento, organizzato dal Comune di Villanova, ha visto protagonista l’artista Silvio Irilli, che ha condiviso con il pubblico il suo percorso creativo e umano, in un viaggio che ha attraversato decenni di carriera e passione. Accolto con entusiasmo nel paese dove è cresciuto, Irilli ha raccontato per 2 ore la sua storia davanti a una platea gremita trasformando il cinema in uno spazio di emozione collettiva. INAUGURATO "IL BOSCO DEI SOGNI" PER IL PRONTO SOCCORSO PEDIATRICO DI ALESSANDRIA

Alessandria 11/07/2025: Il Pronto Soccorso Pediatrico dell’Ospedale Infantile "Cesare Arrigo"" di Alessandria diventa il “Bosco dei sogni”, con l’allestimento artistico firmato da Silvio Irilli, che trasforma la paura in meraviglia e l’attesa in incanto. L’opera è stata resa possibile grazie alla donazione della signora Giuseppina Merenda. Un bellissimo gesto di amore in ricordo del proprio fratello scomparso tanti anni fa e che ha voluto far continuare il suo messaggio portando un momento di serenità ai piccoli pazienti che dovranno affrontare le cure. Milano, 7 giugno 2025: Gabriele, un piccolo eroe affetto da una malattia rara dal nome SIFD (Sideroblastic Anemia with Immunodeficiency, Fevers and Developmental Delay), è l'unico caso in Italia, che ogni giorno affronta con un coraggio straordinario e sorriso le mille terapie e visite di follow-up. E proprio da questa sigla, attraverso l’associazione a lui dedicata, Gabry Little Hero,che i genitori di Gabriele hanno voluto donare un nuovo significato: Sogniamo Insieme un Futuro Diverso. Questa volta lo fanno attraverso l’umanizzazione degli spazi di cura che spesso possono davvero cambiare la prospettiva di chi spesso è costretto a lunghe attese in ospedale o centri specialistici a causa della propria malattia/patologia. Attraverso il tocco poetico e colorato di Silvio Irilli, la sala d’attesa del centro UONPIA dell' ASST Grande Ospedale Metropolitano Niguarda a Milano, si è trasformata in un mondo futuristico, accogliente, pieno di energia e vita. Un mondo che racconta, anche visivamente, la storia di un bimbo supereroe, Gabriele, e quella di tanti bambini come lui. Determinante per la realizzazione di questo sogno è stato il sostegno di Euronext e dei suoi dipendenti, che hanno partecipato attivamente alla raccolta fondi attraverso le iniziative solidali di Natale, dimostrando quanto la generosità aziendale possa generare bellezza concreta.

Messina April 11, 2025: A colorful dive into the marine world. This is the scenario that from now on will welcome children hospitalized in the pediatrics ward of the AOU G. Martino of Messina. Inaugurated today the renovated facility thanks to the “Il Mare In Corsia” project, carried out by the ABC Association, Amici dei Bimbi in Corsia di Messina. A work created by the artist Silvio Irilli with Painted Hospitals, and made concrete thanks to the crowdfunding campaign that ABC carried out in the last months of 2024 with the support of local entities and organizations whose contributions made its realization possible.

Turin, April 4, 2025 -On the evening of Friday, April 4, artist Silvio Irilli, founder of the 'Painted Hospitals' project, was the guest speaker at the Liceo Classico 'Vittorio Alfieri' high school in Turin for a special meeting as part of the 'National Night of the Liceo Classico. In his talk, Irilli, dubbed "the artist of hospitals," recounted his extraordinary life and professional journey, which led him to become a nationally and internationally renowned figure thanks to his humanization work within Italian hospitals. His 'Painted Hospitals' project has transformed hospital spaces into more welcoming and humane places, bringing a new aesthetic and emotional dimension to healthcare facilities. "It was a special and exciting evening to tell the students of the Liceo Classico Vittorio Alfieri in Turin about my artistic journey," says the artist, "It was like taking a journey through time with images and videos that moved the audience, where in addition to the artistic aspect I wanted to highlight the human aspect in a journey made up of many sacrifices with difficult moments where each time I found the strength and courage to start again until the conception of the project Painted Hospitals. Special thanks to Professor Paola Montanari and Professor Anna Cavanno and school head teacher Professor Paola De Faveri for the invitation and beautiful hospitality." During the evening, the artist shared his experience with the audience, using the powerful tool of storytelling. His words, enriched with evocative and inspiring content, left the young people present with an important reflection on the values that have guided him over the years and that underlie the foundation of 'Painted Hospitals. THE HISTORIC CARNIVAL OF SANTHIA', THE OLDEST IN PIEDMONT AND ITALY, AWARDS THE MARIO PISTONO 'ONLY ART REMAINS' PRIZE TO SILVIO IRILLI

Santhià, March 3, 2025 - The Santhià Historic Carnival this year awarded the Mario Pistono “Only Art Remains” Prize to Silvio Irilli. “It is a bronze embossing with the effigy of our historic Gianduja statue,” points out current Pro Loco President Fabrizio Pistono, son of Mario*, himself a historic president and to whom the award is named, “and was made by master Gianni Franceschina. This award over the years has been given to important people in the art world, including Ugo Nespolo, Carlo Rambaldi's daughter Daniela, Gastone Cecconello, another renowned painter, and Francesco Tamiati, first trumpet of La Scala, to name but a few,” Pistono concludes. This year the choice fell on Silvio Irilli whose project “Painted Hospitals” played a key role for the judges, who have always been attentive to the emotional impact of artwork. “I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Pro Loco of Santhià and Fabrizio Pistono for the MARIO PISTONO” ONLY ART REMAINS “Award, which is a profound recognition for my commitment to art as an emotional and humanizing support in hospitals and inspires me to continue to explore, listen, create and share my vision, with the hope of moving those who observe my work.” Starting out as a cartoonist in the 1990s, Silvio Irilli's works appeared in various newspapers, from TuttoSport, to Sorrisi&Canzoni, and television programs such as Solletico. Irilli then began to paint, choosing subjects such as the famous cyclist Pantani, immortalized in a large painting, and the footballer Maradona, and then devoted himself to large spaces such as the ceiling in the entrance of the world's largest aquarium, the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, United States. In 2012, the breakthrough year: the hospital the Policlinico Gemelli in Rome called him to decorate a corridor of the radiotherapy oncology department, and it was the feedback obtained from the young patients that inspired the creation of the “Painted Hospitals” project, which now has thirty hospitals.

NOEMI'S ISLAND OF DOLPHINS UNVEILED WITH NOEMI PROJECT ASSOCIATION

Pescara Feb. 19, 2025 :: Inaugurated the work “Noemi's dolphin island” together with the Noemi Project Association for #therapiasubintensive care at Pescara Hospital, which was attended by Minister for Disabilities Alessandra Locatelli Then in the afternoon there was a meeting with little Noemi, who has a severe form of SMA but makes beautiful paintings that have been included in the great work of the sub-intensive care unit. The story of the work then continued the next day at the Tito Acerbo Technical Institute. It was a valuable opportunity to raise awareness of issues of great human and social value, showing them how art and solidarity can make a difference in the lives of so many people. We cannot stop thanking Noemi's dad Andrea Sciarretta and his family's commitment enough for the great strength, energy they convey to all of us, who will be by their side to bring color to the wards WITHOUT EVER GIVING UP.

Bosisio Parini 27/01/2025 :: Painted Hospitals transforms Medea Scientific Institute's neuroradiology into a fantasy world. The inauguration on January 27 in Bosisio Parini. Seabed with dolphins, turtles, corals, colorful walls that make pediatric neuroradiology a child-friendly environment. It is titled “Un Tuffo nel Blu” the work created by Silvio Irilli - founding artist of Ospedali Dipinti - inaugurated on January 27 at the Eugenio Medea Scientific Institute - La Nostra Famiglia in Bosisio Parini (Lc): thanks to donations from Smurfit Westrock Foundation, Eva Maria Association and ILGA - Italian Ladies Golf Association, the walls of the rooms dedicated to MRI were transformed into a fairy-tale world, where rays of light filtering into the sea convey emotion, positivity, calm, strength and a sense of wonder. Young patients and their families will thus be able to face the MRI examination as if it were a journey to an enchanted world aboard a submarine. This is an important part of that path of humanization of care that also passes through the beauty of spaces, in line with the Association's mission: to be on the side of the child, always and in everything.

It was an immense pleasure to tell 4th graders about the Painted Hospitals project in order to involve them in the Cure a Colori project that I will be doing for the #prontosoccorso at the Ospedale Maggiore di Chieri and to invite them, along with Massimo Marenco , to the big Santa Bike event on December 15
After holding a color workshop, where I revealed some tricks to them, they will start drawing their own version of Santa Bike with rhyming phrases of encouragement to patients that will be displayed at Il Gialdo Shopping Center from Dec. 21.
Thanks to teacher Vania Dionisi and her colleagues for the invitation.

With a more pediatric design, the logo is redesigned by artist Silvio Irilli by selecting 2 colors, the green of nature and the ‘blue of the sky and the sea that embrace to form the outline of a paintbrush, all enclosed in a circle to symbolize a circular message, with the emotions that are to travel around the World.
Even the font of Painted Hospitals features the 2 colors that complement the logo which becomes easy to read, modern, elegant and minimal!

GASLINI'S NEW BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT CENTER INAUGURATED

Genoa, May 23, 2024 - As of Thursday morning, the Giannina Gaslini Institute can count on a new Bone Marrow Transplant Center on the second floor of Pavilion 12, a totally renovated space equipped with state-of-the-art instruments created thanks to a donation from the Conio family in memory of lawyer Emiliano Conio. The renovated rooms house six high-isolation beds in single positive-pressure rooms with high-efficiency air-cleaning filters and a centralized monitoring system, and the new ward also has a double room for donor hospitalization, as well as dedicated spaces for the comfort of parents in care. Artist Silvio Irilli, founder of Painted Hospitals, took care of the decoration of the rooms, including in the works of the 6 rooms, 6 stories from the “Book of Fables” illustrated by Giusi Capizzi, thanks to the availability of St. Paul's Editions.

Inaugurated “THE SEA OF SMILES” A special work for a new reception in the pediatric oncohematology department of the Brescia Civili Hospital

Brescia, April 30, 2024 - A new waiting room in the entrance area to pediatric oncohematology at the Spedali Civili Hospital in Brescia was inaugurated today. The project, named “The Sea of Smiles,” was donated by the ODV association “Un sorriso per Matteo ed Ettore” thanks to the contribution of Fondazione Mediolanum, the event “Dal cuore...All'Adamello” and the support of ABE, and with the intervention of artist Silvio Irilli of OSPEDALI DIPINTI who transformed the waiting room into a bright seabed.

“LEAP INTO THE BLUE” WORK INAUGURATED AT THE GEMELLI POLYCLINIC IN ROME

10/19/2023 Presented the work “Leap into the Blue” by artist Silvio Irilli of Painted Hospitals. The theme of the painting is sea creatures; the work was created thanks to the important contribution of La Roche-Posay and in collaboration with the Romanini Association, which follows all the initiatives related to the Art4ART project. For 10 years the artist Irilli has been collaborating with Gemelli within the “Art4ART” project (“Art for Advanced Radiotherapy” www.gemelliart.it) in the artistic realization of several radiotherapy treatment rooms: Aventine Room, Colosseum Room, Villa Adriana Room and Aquarius the one dedicated to children. The initiative involved the youngest children by inviting them to bring a drawing of a marine character to the pharmacy to be displayed at the point of sale. Among the many drawings of marine characters made by children, the beautiful drawing depicting marine octopuses was chosen, which artist Silvio Irilli integrated into the work “Leap into the Blue” on the walls of one of the rooms of the radiation oncology department, helping to transform it into a pleasant environment for young patients as well.

Genoa 12.O6.2023 Dolphins, turtles and little fish will accompany Gaslini Hospital patients during treatments! The procedure room of the Hemato-Oncology Department has a new look thanks to the “Colors of the Sea” artwork created by Silvio Irilli of Painted Hospitals through the GaslinInsieme Foundation, the valuable support of the Tyrrhenum Cultural Association and the many supporters of the Hemato-Oncology Department. The decoration of the procedure room is part of the larger “Gaslini a Colori” project, a project that includes a series of radical interventions with the intention of humanizing the hospital's environments, so as to make the reception and stay of young patients more joyful.

Brushstrokes of magic and beauty, to help make the passage in the hospital a child-friendly walk: the Veneto Oncology Institute presents “The forest in a room,” the new art installation by Silvio Irilli, talented artist founder of “Painted Hospitals” who, thanks to the support of the Castorina Ceolin Foundation, has transformed the playroom of the IOV Radiotherapy of Padua into a fantastic forest, inhabited by enchanted characters that will allow children to travel with their imagination even while they are in the hospital environment. So here is an “enveloping” room, made in an immersive way: the walls, the ceiling, but also the openings (doors and windows) are part of the work, so that during the moments of waiting for therapy, children can feel part of a fairy tale. Painted Hospitals book presented in Chieri.

Chieri 10.12.2022. Presented the book of “Painted Hospitals” in the conference room of the Civic Library of #Chieri (To) where the artist Silvio Irilli recounted his 30-year career with the 10 years of the Painted Hospitals project. It was a tale with images, videos that moved the audience. Present were Chieri City Councillor for Culture Antonella Giordano, Emmaland Association and Lillo di Franco who presented the event.
Until Dec. 15, part of the proceeds will support the “Emma’s Garden” project for the Emmaland Association, which we will carry out for the pediatric oncohematology ward of Novara Hospital.

MARCO'S TALE IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM

Less than four weeks have passed since the conclusion of the special fundraiser opened by La Favola di Marco 1Q41.12 - Onlus, and today is already the big day of the inauguration of a beautiful art project to transform the waiting room, Triage room and medical room of the Pediatric Emergency Room in Cuneo thanks to the intervention of HOSPITALS PAINTED. Intervention strongly desired by the association La Favola di Marco 1Q41.12 - Onlus, which has long been active at the hospital of Cuneo with the mission of supporting a “child-friendly” hospital reception, through special projects for which it does its best in fundraising and subsequent donations, always in favor of the well-being of young patients and their families. Special thanks, therefore, go to Vincontro and Cassa di Risparmio, both of Fossano, and to all the private citizens who made the work possible by donating to the association's fundraising efforts.

GIANNINA GASLINI CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL INAUGURATES “TREASURE ISLAND,” OF PAINTED HOSPITALS

Inaugurated the new playroom of the pediatric hemato-oncology ward, transformed by the artistic work of Painted Hospitals into a beautiful “Treasure Island,” a fantasy world populated by sea creatures that will allow children patients of the ward to travel with imagination even in the hospital setting. La Roche-Posay decided to support Gaslini Hospital, through Gaslini ONLUS, in the realization of this project through the initiative launched in pharmacies last November and which saw children as the first protagonists. Among the many drawings of marine characters made by the little ones, the beautiful drawing of a little girl, Emanuela, was chosen, whose character depicting a very sweet sea seal was reproduced and integrated by artist Silvio Irilli on the walls of the room, helping to transform it into a friendly environment for the little patients.
