“One of the many wards where my life was saved, where I met so many great people.
Finally this new ward, so colorful, will be able to accommodate so many children and young people fighting for life!
A huge thank you to those who work there, you are magnificent, I will carry you in my heart, always.🙏🏻❤” Gloria from Facebook

“It's like entering a magical world, thinking that we are in an ICU instead...the feeling of peace, enveloped by water with those magnificent dolphins accompanying you. I hope the effect it had in me will be the same as it will be in our children and parents. I am sure that tension and pain will be mitigated by this wonder. Thank you Silvio!”
Dr. Andrea Pettenazzo
Director of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
" What a thrill! A dream come true!
The dream of a life dedicated to children who for various reasons, at such a precious and delicate time in their lives, face difficulties sometimes pain, sadness and loneliness. This project fulfills the need to provide relief to children and parents, to mitigate the loneliness one feels when life asks one to face difficult times. But this project also realizes the need to take care of the caregiver, every day, with a spirit of dedication in physical fatigue, but also in feeling the suffering of those being cared for! Grateful to Silvio, the Foundation and the universe that set this in motion! "

Dreaming of Colors in TIPED

The corridor and patient rooms

“Meeting Silvio allowed us to realize a great dream of ours: to recreate within a delicate pediatric ward, such as the intensive care unit, a fairy-tale world that gives children and their families relief, serenity and courage to face and overcome the period of hospitalization. As a Foundation, we also want to say thank you to all the donors who joined the fundraising campaign, because it is mainly thanks to them that we can continue to work to make the hospital environment more and more child-friendly”

"I am happy to bring the Painted Hospitals project to the Veneto region for the first time, to the hospital of Padua for a special ward, the pediatric intensive care unit, where young patients will need support, a lot of strength and courage. Having transformed the ward with the theme of the sea, I hope it will also bring some serenity to families, become an important support to doctors, and that children in the smile of dolphins, turtles, may find new friends to encourage them. I thank Chief Dr. Pettenazzo, Dr. Cristina Zaggia for so enthusiastically embracing the project. Special thanks to the Salus Pueri Foundation whose fundraising campaign financed the work with contributions from local businesses and people. Every time we manage to give a smile to hospitalized children, we will have all done something special together "
